Aarcomm’s Brand Story

Aarcomm was born from a deep desire to make things work better. Our founders, a group of experienced engineers in wireless control systems, saw a remarkable opportunity to revolutionize industrial radio remote controls – a crucial device for safety and operations in various industries.

Back in 2012, our founders (along with the rest of the world) witnessed the incredible transformation of the global cell phone market. Mechanical keyboards gave way to software-based keyboards, offering powerful capabilities within sleek and compact devices.

Inspired by this, our team at Aarcomm saw the same potential for remote controls. We decided to design our remote controls with firmware instead of mechanical switches, unlocking a world of possibilities. By doing so, we could pack more functionality into a much sleeker form factor.

This pivotal design choice allowed us to create remotes that are not only more durable, waterproof, and feature-rich but also more ergonomic and versatile. We also addressed a significant challenge faced by truck and machine manufacturers – the need to stock spare remotes for each specific type of vehicle. With Aarcomm, we have successfully developed a universal spare remote that can easily be switched between machines because the operating specifications are stored in the software.
