Bay-Lynx and Aarcomm: A Partnership Paved in Innovation

At Aarcomm, we take pride in not just developing remote control solutions but also in forging partnerships that drive technological advancements and enhance operational efficiency. Our collaboration with Bay-Lynx Manufacturing Inc., a leader in construction equipment, is a testament to how tailored solutions can impact productivity and service quality.

Meeting the Challenge at World of Concrete

"Our first encounter with Aarcomm was back in 2014 at the World of Concrete," recalls Samuel Overduin from Bay-Lynx. "We had just launched our Mix volumetric mixer in North America and were in urgent need of a reliable remote control solution that our existing suppliers couldn't provide." This meeting was the beginning of a transformative journey that modernized operational capabilities for operators of Bay Lynx volumetric mixers and spreaders.

The Aarcomm Edge: Superior Products and Exceptional Service

Matt Wolfe, who handles Post Sale and Parts at Bay-Lynx, points out that their previous experiences with other manufacturers often fell short, especially in customer support and service. "Aarcomm brought to the table far superior products and a level of service that we truly appreciated," he says. This shift was crucial for Bay-Lynx as they sought reliable, high-quality solutions for their equipment.

Revolutionizing Operations with Innovative Controls

Steve Maas, Parts Sales Manager at Bay-Lynx, elaborates on the technical advancements that Aarcomm introduced. "The major issues we faced included long lead times for remote systems and frequent need for replacements. Aarcomm's innovative approach eliminated the traditional potentiometer switches, replacing them with a push-and-hold button control, similar to an Xbox controller, which our customers find intuitive and reliable."

Streamlining with Handheld and Belly Pack Light Remotes

Bay-Lynx utilizes Aarcomm's Handheld remotes for their mixer operations and the Belly Pack Lite remotes for their SP customers. "Our operators love the compact, yet comprehensive control they get from the handheld remotes," Matt Wolfe adds. "The ability to control the entire machine with one hand without staying in the cab streamlines operations tremendously."

Samuel Overduin highlights the durability and reliability of the Belly Pack, noting significant reductions in maintenance calls and operational disruptions. "The simplicity of the Aarcomm system has cut down on service calls, ensuring that our customers' operations are as uninterrupted as possible," he explains.

Responsive and Supportive Service

The service quality of Aarcomm stands out significantly for Bay-Lynx. "Whenever I need support, the response is immediate and effective, making Aarcomm my preferred supplier," says Matt Wolfe. This responsiveness is pivotal in maintaining high operational uptime for Bay-Lynx’s equipment.

Looking Ahead

"Aarcomm is constantly evolving, staying ahead of technological curves, and preparing us for future challenges," Samuel Overduin reflects. This proactive stance by Aarcomm ensures that Bay-Lynx can continue to expect innovative solutions that will meet the demands of tomorrow’s markets.
